A New Man

without comments

Hey guys. just wanted to thank you for leading me to freedom. I had struggled with a war for years.  There where two parts of me. One wanted all of god. the other was bond to porn.  Porn always outweighed the other. It was so bad I would cry while watching it cause deep down I hated it but was so driven by another force.  But when I went toward that water I felt the same nature that loved porn panic..I felt my old nature panic. I felt it wanted to run and not get near that water…but I’m here to tell you today I’m a free man. Now only one nature consumes me and thats the very nature of GOD. Thanks for being sold out and not judging us for our sins but loving us as christ loves the church..I feel this is only the beginning of the mighty awakening of our hearts..for the earth egerly awaits the revealing of the sons of God (Rom 8:19) today I’m one of those sons the earth groans for.

Drastically Changed

without comments

I just came back from The Ramp from the last weekend in April. I have to say watching the way you guys praised and just all out worshipped God is amazing! God really worked through your whole team down there in Alabama and I can say after our youth group truely “crossed” the line, we all have been on fire for God ever since! The way we worship at our church has totally changed 100%! I mean drastically!! The hunger for God in our youth group is so SO deep like it has never been before! And yes, people stare at you like you have gone mad…but the best part is that none of us care! We are so hungry and thirsty for His presence that we forget about who is around us and praise God the way He should be praised! And its still not even enough!  I just wanted to thank you guys so much for letting God do an amazing work through your lives! You have truely been an amazing impact on our lives! My little brother was even an atheist, but now he is seeking to learn more about God just as we are! Thank you for blessing us through your ministry and I pray that God continues to change peoples lives through your works! May God bless you all like never before!

Lives Transformed

without comments

Through the work of the Spirit, I was able to bring 6 kids to the Conference for the Saturday sessions. I didn’t know how they would react as we are of the Baptist Faith. Well two of the girls fell into place and were touchd by God almost immediatly. The others were simply enamered with thier Fake french Manicured nails that they has stayed up all night perfecting. I sat behind them and watched as they pondered thier lovely hands and gave no attention to the Word being spoken. I could feel disappointment setting in and had to focus on other things. As the day went on I gave that over to Him and asked him to Touch them. After lunch I decided to get the group closer to the stage and in the middle. As the kids watched the dramas and dances I saw as their faces changed and by the end of the night they were all dancing unto the Lord. Its an addiction that I can’t get away from, to be in the Presence of the Lord and to watch peoples lives transformed..

Taking the Fire back home

without comments

About 7.5 hours into on a 10 journey home… the Holy Ghost started a FIRE in our bus! A leader called me and I listened for over 45 minutes to kids sharing, testifying, exhorting, encouraging, interceding and just plain out get radical for the Lord! Anyways, I pulled over at a Rest Area. When we stopped I boarded the bus (was driving my personal van listening to the services again) and they were just going to town. For over 2 and a half hours at this point! One young man raised his hand and noticed that the place we stopped was called “Mount Zion”, Ky. Well, that blew it up all over again! They got off the bus and the guys were praying for the male worker at the Rest Area and the girls were praying for a young mother pushing her child in a stroller! They were telling people about Jesus and the price He had paid just for them! When we got home about an hour later… we went into the church and had “church” again! God showed up and the Holy Spirit blew the place up! Our pastor came up from his office and just began to weep! You could hear them interceding for their generation/family/friends etc… even outside in the parking lot! Parents were almost afraid to come in! IT was awesome! The Holy Spirit instructed me to have them “Cross the Line” like what had happened in the Pastor’s session. Oh my… it was GLORIOUS!!!

Filling the Longing

without comments

I was watching The Ramp online this weekend and I really got into worship, prayer, and seeking God. I had always had this longing for something more and I searched for things to fill that longing. It was when I was watching this weekend and I really began to engage in worship and seeking God that I knew He was all that I needed to fill that longing. I came out of this weekend with such fulfillment and peace like I had never known. I know now that in Him is where I find fullness of joy. Another thing that happened from watching this weekend happened when you were all talking about and praying for reaching your cities. I was set on fire to reach my city. So, I am setting out to get people in my city involved…getting prayer meetings started and having one big prayer and worship service on that global day of prayer. I’m hoping this will initiate more prayer meetings in my city…more prayer meetings at churches…more times where people come together as one body of believers…an army of God to pray and seek His face, to worship together….and to come together to find ways of reaching this city.

Finally, something REAL

without comments

I had been praying for weeks that the Lord just do something REAL in the lives of the teens going in our group. Well, REAL it was. In fact, even some of my adult leaders kept pointing out through the sessions how much the word “REAL” came across the platform! This was, counting stops for restroom and a meal, abut a 10 hour trip for us from Ohio.  I just want to express a sincere “Thank You” to Karen and Damon for just being obedient to the move of the Holy Spirit!! So many conferences these days revolve around a certain band/artist/speaker as opposed to the greatest of them all — the Holy Spirit! What a privilege to take a group and let them sit in the manifested presence of our Most High God and King!

The Lord’s Army

without comments

Hey Mrs. Karen. I was at the Ramp with my youth group for the January 23-25 gathering. I can speak for everyone that was with us and say it was the most amazing experience of our lives. We had parents watching at home who got in the presence of the Lord in their living rooms. We arrived home at about 5:50 Sunday afternoon. Just in time to hop off the bus and go in to the service. We were expecting something, we had realized what the presence of God could feel like. We had worshipped all the way home and were ready to set our church ablaze with the fire that we had caught on to at the Ramp. We worshipped like we had at the Ramp and soon the entire altar was full of people, old and young, dancing before the Lord. (that is something we have been lacking recently) Words from the Lord were given, our youth were going around praying with the adults of the church. People were being filled with the Holy Ghost! It was so amazing and the Presence was so evident that the Pastor asked who would like to come back Monday night for another encounter with the Lord and the same roar of The Lord’s Army that I heard in the Ramp, I then heard in my own church! You said we would never be able to settle for another service without the presence like we felt up there. And you were correct! But thanks to our God we won’t have to! Because Revival is breaking loose!!!!! Thanks so much for everything you and your ministry do. It has truly changed our lives. Our church is alive again. Glory be to God!!

A New Creation

without comments

My life after getting filled with the Holy Spirit has changed me in so many ways! Before my life was a living wreck. I used to have a strong addiction to porn, I’m an Ex Homesexual, and I used to have problems in my household. As soon as i truly belived there was no hope for me was when I came to my weakest point. My soul was totally sold to the devil but it gets better. There was Hope for me when God showed up for me at the RAMP December 29, 2008 (praise God). As he was setting me free he showed me the demonic spirit of homosexuality warring against one of God’s Angels. That angel was willing to go to war for my life and surely he did. Through the mist of this vision i was being prayed for by loved ones. Its so funny, we give up on God walking away from his love turning our backs on his people and yet he still stands there with open arms waiting for his child’s return…He remains a loving Father like no other.
