Repentance and Restoration

without comments

All the way home from the Ramp I continued to praise God no matter what. When I first entered my room I could barely stand to be in it because of all the sin that I had kept around me. I threw away countless outfits that had been some of my favorites because of how revealing or tight they were. My collection of music went from about 2000 songs to 150 after I deleted the bad songs and added some music that glorifies God. So many things the Lord had me erase from my life because I had been worshiping them instead of Him.  The Lord also healed me and my friend of asthma this weekend.
I was able to come home and freely talk to my mother about my experiences with God. In the past I had been hesitant to talk to her about it because I knew that while I might be on fire for a couple days I would loose that passion in a few weeks. Now not only am I accountable to God and my church, I am also accountable to my mother and my little sister. ☺ God has restored my family’s unity and I will forever be thankful.
