The RAMP

This year we brought 25 kids to the Ramp. Our boys were in somewhat of a dry place and none had been Spirit filled. But they all received the Holy Spirit on Sat night. On our way home what was a 3 ½ hour trip took us around 10 hours. We had 3 vehicles following each other. The spirit of laughter filled one of the vans to the point of us having to pull over. We stopped at a closed gas station on the side of the road and the Spirit was so thick that our kids were falling out everywhere. We ended up being there for 3 hours. After we left we stopped at McDonalds and the Spirit fell in there to the point of people falling out. People thought we were crazy. There was one young man with us that was still not free, so the children began to pray for him. After about an hour of continued prayer for him we had all gotten to the point that we had to pull over again! We loaded them up and brought them on home  – they were still praying in the Spirit – we put them in the sanctuary and they prayed until 1 am. They called other members of the youth group who didn’t get to go, and upon their arrival those kids were filled with the Spirit as well. Those parents that were waiting in the parking lot said they felt the Spirit coming before we got there and when we turned the corner there came the rushing wind! We had an awesome experience and even we adults received much.

A couple of our kids got filled with the Holy Spirit Saturday night, so the Lord told me to have everyone pray in their prayer language before you unload at the hotel. We have been to several conferences before but this time was completely different. We normally will go and God moves powerfully on our kids and they return with such a renewed fire. This time they returned with the fire but they have practical things to do now to keep that fire. I also have seen such a remarkable change in the leaders that we brought. They have been changed forever. Every one of my prayers for them was not only answered but God went far beyond just answering my prayers. They have been transformed.

My daughter received the Holy Ghost. She had been seeking it for about a year and just couldn’t receive for whatever reason. The last night was amazing. One girl from our church told me she saw an angel! If that isn’t “Heaven’s involvement” then I don’t know what would be! I have never been in a service like this before. We pastor a small church and the Spirit is very evident in our ministry, but to look out at 1,100 people and everyone be praying in the Spirit for hours was so totally awesome. We hope to bring it to our church. One girl had a vision that she was on fire (the fire of the Holy Sprit) and everyone that close to her caught fire too. The teachings were so practical, needed, and perfect for our group. It was an AWESOME conference! I can’t say enough!!!
New Horizon Vision Center

We had a couple of our kids, a friend of mine that works with the youth group, and my husband all receive the Holy Ghost!!! Our youth group will start in October having an intercessory prayer group. We have been blessed with a lot of youth that want to reach their generation for Christ. I am expecting our city and the surrounding areas to be changed for the best.

All of our lives were transformed this weekend. Some of our teens were baptized in the Holy Spirit. We couldn’t stop praying and praising the Lord. Sunday morning, we worshiped until check out time in our motel, then we continued to pray, sing, testify, worship, etc. For 8 hours in the church van. Even when we stopped for gas, everyone got off the van and started praying in the parking lot. They didn’t care who saw them. When we got back home, they went to church and prayed until midnight. They kept saying, “This is real.” They are on fire for God, and we are praying revival will break out in their schools. Thanks for being faithful to God. We will be back soon!

Two of our youth, one a brand new Christian, received the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the first evidence of speaking in tongues. One of my youth, a 19 year old girl was so moved upon by the Friday morning message. She had been pregnant and had a miscarriage two years ago. She was involved in cutting herself. Just a day prior to coming to the RAMP she had cut the word “alone” into her leg. She was so moved upon by the Holy Spirit that when we returned to the hotel she threw away the knife she had brought and her cigarettes that I was not even aware she had.

My husband and I came to the Ramp together. It was great; we did not know what to expect. God is flipping our lives upside down. Derek, my husband was healed from a work injury. He had a wall fall on his leg this year and his ankle has been bothering him ever since. He was jumping and dancing at the Ramp, and he has not mentioned pain once. He was also baptized in the Holy Ghost, something we have been praying for. I am just watching God make amazing changes in our lives.

We had two teenagers filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit for the first time. One girl in our group was healed of asthma, one of an ankle injury, and one of a stomach disorder. Isn’t it awesome!!

I came to the Ramp and I felt so wonderful. I’ve gone through a lot and have had a breakthrough. I actually just got filled with the Holy Spirit while at the Ramp and well, I didn’t stop speaking in tongues until 4am in the morning!! And to top that off my mom – who hasn’t been very strong in the Lord – went to church for the first time in about 2 months yesterday!! Praise!!

I have been using drugs from the age of 10. By the time I was 16 I was locked up because of it. Dope brought me to the point that I sat in my room with a gun ready to pull the trigger and kill myself. My mom asked me every week to come to church. One week I finally did and got saved and baptized. I prayed and read my Bible but there was no fire. Well, Saturday at the Ramp I was baptized in the Holy Spirit and felt a height that no drug can fill. I left on fire for the Lord.
Today a man that I have been praying for came up to me. I told him how the Lord has changed my life then I asked him if he was saved. Mrs. Karen, for the first time the Lord used me and brought a man that I have been praying for to salvation. You and the Ramp gave me what I needed – the wood for my little fire, and now there is a fire.
