A New Man

without comments

Hey guys. just wanted to thank you for leading me to freedom. I had struggled with a war for years.  There where two parts of me. One wanted all of god. the other was bond to porn.  Porn always outweighed the other. It was so bad I would cry while watching it cause deep down I hated it but was so driven by another force.  But when I went toward that water I felt the same nature that loved porn panic..I felt my old nature panic. I felt it wanted to run and not get near that water…but I’m here to tell you today I’m a free man. Now only one nature consumes me and thats the very nature of GOD. Thanks for being sold out and not judging us for our sins but loving us as christ loves the church..I feel this is only the beginning of the mighty awakening of our hearts..for the earth egerly awaits the revealing of the sons of God (Rom 8:19) today I’m one of those sons the earth groans for.

Praising in the Parking Lot

with one comment

On our way home, about 60 miles from the state line we started praying. We continued to worship untill we came into Terre Haute, Indiana, which is about 45 minutes from where we live.
As we pulled into the parking lot of the place where we intended to eat, we were still praising the Lord.  Suddenly one of the people jumped out of the van and started praising God in the middle of the parking lot.  So our youth pastor told us to follow.  We stayed in the parking lot for probably a good hour just praising the Lord. One person was slain in the spirit and began to speak in tongues for the first time. We were weeping and laughing and praising the Lord in the parking lot as people inside were staring at us.  People drove by and after they saw us they would turn around and drive by us again so they could stare.  The Lord did such a work in us.

What only God Could Do

without comments

One of our girls has battled depression in her life for quite some time now. She was raped and molested, and had a lot of anger and mistrust in her life. During a service at The Ramp, she was looking at the Cross and realized that Jesus did die for her and wanted to forgive her of her sin. She knew that if He could do that for her, she needed to do that for people that had hurt her…forgive them that is. Now, she is completely free from her depression and walks with joy and confidence that could only come from the Father!

Walking in Freedom

without comments

My weekend at the Ramp has been by far the most useful, productive weekend I’ve had in a long time. I know that I was meant to be there if nothing else to completely transform my mind. The Lord revealed to me that I shouldn’t view myself as a kid that’s going to fall but as a child of God that has been placed upon the rock of the Lord. I believe whole-heartedly that the days of my roller coaster relationship with God are over and I can finally throw off these chains of hypocrisy and walk in freedom! There have been so many things that God opened my eyes to this weekend.
