Taking the Fire back home

without comments

About 7.5 hours into on a 10 journey home… the Holy Ghost started a FIRE in our bus! A leader called me and I listened for over 45 minutes to kids sharing, testifying, exhorting, encouraging, interceding and just plain out get radical for the Lord! Anyways, I pulled over at a Rest Area. When we stopped I boarded the bus (was driving my personal van listening to the services again) and they were just going to town. For over 2 and a half hours at this point! One young man raised his hand and noticed that the place we stopped was called “Mount Zion”, Ky. Well, that blew it up all over again! They got off the bus and the guys were praying for the male worker at the Rest Area and the girls were praying for a young mother pushing her child in a stroller! They were telling people about Jesus and the price He had paid just for them! When we got home about an hour later… we went into the church and had “church” again! God showed up and the Holy Spirit blew the place up! Our pastor came up from his office and just began to weep! You could hear them interceding for their generation/family/friends etc… even outside in the parking lot! Parents were almost afraid to come in! IT was awesome! The Holy Spirit instructed me to have them “Cross the Line” like what had happened in the Pastor’s session. Oh my… it was GLORIOUS!!!

The Lord’s Army

without comments

Hey Mrs. Karen. I was at the Ramp with my youth group for the January 23-25 gathering. I can speak for everyone that was with us and say it was the most amazing experience of our lives. We had parents watching at home who got in the presence of the Lord in their living rooms. We arrived home at about 5:50 Sunday afternoon. Just in time to hop off the bus and go in to the service. We were expecting something, we had realized what the presence of God could feel like. We had worshipped all the way home and were ready to set our church ablaze with the fire that we had caught on to at the Ramp. We worshipped like we had at the Ramp and soon the entire altar was full of people, old and young, dancing before the Lord. (that is something we have been lacking recently) Words from the Lord were given, our youth were going around praying with the adults of the church. People were being filled with the Holy Ghost! It was so amazing and the Presence was so evident that the Pastor asked who would like to come back Monday night for another encounter with the Lord and the same roar of The Lord’s Army that I heard in the Ramp, I then heard in my own church! You said we would never be able to settle for another service without the presence like we felt up there. And you were correct! But thanks to our God we won’t have to! Because Revival is breaking loose!!!!! Thanks so much for everything you and your ministry do. It has truly changed our lives. Our church is alive again. Glory be to God!!

God Rocked Our Church!!

without comments

The work that God did in me and my kids at the Ramp was amazing, but let me tell you what happened when we got back! We got back to our church from The Ramp at around 3:30. Some of the kids went home to freshen up, some of them stayed. The ones who stayed began to pray over the sanctuary, and as they did, the power of God fell. We had flags being waved all over the building and kids all ready in the altars seeking His Face…all before the service started! As members began to arrive, they just joined the kids in praising. The pastor finally called some leaders and kids to come testify about what had happened. By the end, we had our kids lined up ready to pray for people, especially the older members of our congregation. All of the kids began to declare fire over the church, their parents, the elders, all of them! God rocked our church!!!

Dramatically Different

without comments

We have been able to attend three Ramp Gatherings. Our young people, to say the least, have been dramatically touched. Coming to these Gatherings was one of the things that kept me from despair and gave me a true hope for our nation and this next generation. You have certainly helped me get it back and now I am able to truly operate in the gifts of the Spirit and fast and pray. After Damon preached the message of spiritual fathers at Winter Ramp, my whole ministry concept has shifted and I do everything differently!

Still Going Strong

without comments

Just an update- revival is still going strong! We have seen numerous salvations, deliverances, and healings. A Baptist friend of mine brought her 36-year-old grandson who had suffered a stroke during surgery, which left him incapable of walking. When I looked from the platform during worship that night, I saw him walking with no walker! His grandmother was behind him speaking in tongues with her hands raised! She had received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit! Another friend of mine ran to the altar weeping and was also baptized in the Spirit! No altar call, no laying on of hands, no oil—JUST JESUS! I also have been healed after 36 years and need NO prescription medication! Glory!!

A Mighty Rushing Wind

without comments

This year we brought 25 kids to the Ramp. Our boys were in somewhat of a dry place and none had been Spirit filled. But they all received the Holy Spirit on Sat night. On our way home what was a 3 ½ hour trip took us around 10 hours. We had 3 vehicles following each other. The spirit of laughter filled one of the vans to the point of us having to pull over. We stopped at a closed gas station on the side of the road and the Spirit was so thick that our kids were falling out everywhere. We ended up being there for 3 hours. After we left we stopped at McDonalds and the Spirit fell in there to the point of people falling out. People thought we were crazy. There was one young man with us that was still not free, so the children began to pray for him. After about an hour of continued prayer for him we had all gotten to the point that we had to pull over again! We loaded them up and brought them on home  – they were still praying in the Spirit – we put them in the sanctuary and they prayed until 1 am. They called other members of the youth group who didn’t get to go, and upon their arrival those kids were filled with the Spirit as well. Those parents that were waiting in the parking lot said they felt the Spirit coming before we got there and when we turned the corner there came the rushing wind! We had an awesome experience and even we adults received much.

Greatly Impacted

without comments

We are still reeling with the impact from last weekend. All our lives youth, chaperone’s, youth pastor, and children were affected. Sunday morning the youth were praying boldly with hands lifted up, worshipingImpact freely, and one asked me if he could preach next Wednesday- God had given him a word. Sunday afternoon before drama we had prayer and worship, but not like before. They were repenting, weeping, crying, and praying to be real and for unity. What a change! Gory be to God!!!

Group Transformation

without comments

All of our lives were transformed this weekend. Some of our teens were baptized in the Holy Spirit. We couldn’t stop praying and praising the Lord. Sunday morning, we worshiped until check out time in our motel, then we continued to pray, sing, testify, worship, etc. For 8 hours in the church van. Even when we stopped for gas, everyone got off the van and started praying in the parking lot. They didn’t care who saw them. When we got back home, they went to church and prayed until midnight. They kept saying, “This is real.” They are on fire for God, and we are praying revival will break out in their schools. Thanks for being faithful to God. We will be back soon!

Change Back Home

without comments

When we returned home the kids were going crazy – dancing in the McDonald’s bathroom and just witnessing and teaching each other. They are constantly praying for their school and witnessing to their friends. From them the other adults and young kids at church lives are changing. Thank you so much for what you are doing. They realized that being a Christian is a lot better than they thought.

Followed by Freedom

without comments

At church Sunday morning, the freedom to worship followed us home from the Ramp. All of us that had attended the Ramp service were dancing and praising and really stirring things up! Other people began to join in and then our pastor stood up and told everyone that they should begin to worship freely and like they never have before. (This is a Baptist church – or at least that’s what’s on the sign!!)
