To awaken a generation…

A New Man

Hey guys. just wanted to thank you for leading me to freedom. I had struggled with a war for years.  There where two parts of me. One wanted all of god. the other was bond to porn.  Porn always outweighed the other. It was so bad I would cry while watching it cause deep down I hated it but was so driven by another force.  But when I went toward that water I felt the same nature that loved porn panic..I felt my old nature panic. I felt it wanted to run and not get near that water…but I’m here to tell you today I’m a free man. Now only one nature consumes me and thats the very nature of GOD. Thanks for being sold out and not judging us for our sins but loving us as christ loves the church..I feel this is only the beginning of the mighty awakening of our hearts..for the earth egerly awaits the revealing of the sons of God (Rom 8:19) today I’m one of those sons the earth groans for.

Continued Fire

leave a comment »

Hi, my name is Jerrica. I attended Winter Ramp 2008 where God truly did a work in my life. I am a freshman in college in Illinois, and although God had set me on fire during my senior year in high school back in Georgia, the college atmosphere began to turn my gaze away from God. So at the Ramp by the Lord’s grace, I was led to repentance and God set me on fire again and commissioned me to maintain that fire. I just want to say that I thank God everyday for you and the word that is proceeding from The Ramp. God has used your site to speak to me about how to live a life totally consecrated to Him and how to maintain my burning desire to know Him more fully. I just want to say thank you and may God continue to bless this ministry.

Drastically Changed

leave a comment »

I just came back from The Ramp from the last weekend in April. I have to say watching the way you guys praised and just all out worshipped God is amazing! God really worked through your whole team down there in Alabama and I can say after our youth group truely “crossed” the line, we all have been on fire for God ever since! The way we worship at our church has totally changed 100%! I mean drastically!! The hunger for God in our youth group is so SO deep like it has never been before! And yes, people stare at you like you have gone mad…but the best part is that none of us care! We are so hungry and thirsty for His presence that we forget about who is around us and praise God the way He should be praised! And its still not even enough!  I just wanted to thank you guys so much for letting God do an amazing work through your lives! You have truely been an amazing impact on our lives! My little brother was even an atheist, but now he is seeking to learn more about God just as we are! Thank you for blessing us through your ministry and I pray that God continues to change peoples lives through your works! May God bless you all like never before!

Lives Transformed

leave a comment »

Through the work of the Spirit, I was able to bring 6 kids to the Conference for the Saturday sessions. I didn’t know how they would react as we are of the Baptist Faith. Well two of the girls fell into place and were touchd by God almost immediatly. The others were simply enamered with thier Fake french Manicured nails that they has stayed up all night perfecting. I sat behind them and watched as they pondered thier lovely hands and gave no attention to the Word being spoken. I could feel disappointment setting in and had to focus on other things. As the day went on I gave that over to Him and asked him to Touch them. After lunch I decided to get the group closer to the stage and in the middle. As the kids watched the dramas and dances I saw as their faces changed and by the end of the night they were all dancing unto the Lord. Its an addiction that I can’t get away from, to be in the Presence of the Lord and to watch peoples lives transformed..

From Africa

I’m 19 years old and I leave in Zimbabwe in Africa. I was so blessed by your live broadcast on the 22th of March on Daystar, it was about some testimonies by some teenagers. It was actually my first time to see any one of your broadcasting sessions. I was so blessed by the testimonies that were shared and I felt so relieved that other teenagers do see the light, because I was once in the world but since the 13th of March I was touch and so much has changed ever since that day. I’m a new creation.

Obedience produces Fruit

leave a comment »

When Mrs. Karen spoke of the $11,000 debt for
December it broke my heart because you could sense the concern of this
upon her shoulders.  As I sat there my wife looked at me and asked if we
should give $500 as a part of 10% from the $5,000 we had received on
Thursday.  It sounded good, but that’s when God began to deal with me
about sowing the $1,000 seed.  Like many in the room that night I would
have loved to give the entire amount or the entire amount we had been
blessed with.  But I just began to realize that God said there would be
others willing to give $1,000.  I was thankful that God spoke to me about
doing something so random, but I was very grateful that I obeyed God’s
voice.  That one act of obedience did something within our youth group
that I can hardly explain.

Our students were ignited that night and the fire began to grow as Saturday came. The hunger in their eyes was something that we had been praying for a long time. As Saturday
night was completed, I saw our students praying in tongues, on fire, with
compassion, and with purpose!  It was awesome! And of course the fire that engulfed our
students/staff at The Ramp was brought back to our home church.  It was
simply amazing to see the students that next day at our church with such fire!  We ended up
getting out of church at 1:30 due to what took place that day.  We met
again @ 5 for prayer for the service that Sunday night and needless to say the
fire was ablaze again.  We left that night at 10 pm.  Our Pastor got up
and announced to the church that night that the Student Ministry had
received something from God and was on fire.  He told
the church body that when God moves in something like this, they only
had one choice…either jump on in with us or get left behind!
It’s not that God is only at The Ramp, but it’s the fact that the
anointing is so strong that it is impossible to return home and be like
you were before!

Taking the Fire back home

leave a comment »

About 7.5 hours into on a 10 journey home… the Holy Ghost started a FIRE in our bus! A leader called me and I listened for over 45 minutes to kids sharing, testifying, exhorting, encouraging, interceding and just plain out get radical for the Lord! Anyways, I pulled over at a Rest Area. When we stopped I boarded the bus (was driving my personal van listening to the services again) and they were just going to town. For over 2 and a half hours at this point! One young man raised his hand and noticed that the place we stopped was called “Mount Zion”, Ky. Well, that blew it up all over again! They got off the bus and the guys were praying for the male worker at the Rest Area and the girls were praying for a young mother pushing her child in a stroller! They were telling people about Jesus and the price He had paid just for them! When we got home about an hour later… we went into the church and had “church” again! God showed up and the Holy Spirit blew the place up! Our pastor came up from his office and just began to weep! You could hear them interceding for their generation/family/friends etc… even outside in the parking lot! Parents were almost afraid to come in! IT was awesome! The Holy Spirit instructed me to have them “Cross the Line” like what had happened in the Pastor’s session. Oh my… it was GLORIOUS!!!

Filling the Longing

leave a comment »

I was watching The Ramp online this weekend and I really got into worship, prayer, and seeking God. I had always had this longing for something more and I searched for things to fill that longing. It was when I was watching this weekend and I really began to engage in worship and seeking God that I knew He was all that I needed to fill that longing. I came out of this weekend with such fulfillment and peace like I had never known. I know now that in Him is where I find fullness of joy. Another thing that happened from watching this weekend happened when you were all talking about and praying for reaching your cities. I was set on fire to reach my city. So, I am setting out to get people in my city involved…getting prayer meetings started and having one big prayer and worship service on that global day of prayer. I’m hoping this will initiate more prayer meetings in my city…more prayer meetings at churches…more times where people come together as one body of believers…an army of God to pray and seek His face, to worship together….and to come together to find ways of reaching this city.

Finally, something REAL

leave a comment »

I had been praying for weeks that the Lord just do something REAL in the lives of the teens going in our group. Well, REAL it was. In fact, even some of my adult leaders kept pointing out through the sessions how much the word “REAL” came across the platform! This was, counting stops for restroom and a meal, abut a 10 hour trip for us from Ohio.  I just want to express a sincere “Thank You” to Karen and Damon for just being obedient to the move of the Holy Spirit!! So many conferences these days revolve around a certain band/artist/speaker as opposed to the greatest of them all — the Holy Spirit! What a privilege to take a group and let them sit in the manifested presence of our Most High God and King!

Received a Revival

leave a comment »

I have never been to a ramp gathering. I heard about through a friend but I wasn’t interested because I didn’t know. I have been saved for a while, but I was backsliding and I knew in my heart that I needed an emergency revival. So I ran across a late night showing of the Ramp on Sunday. There were about 20 minutes left and in those 20 minutes I felt closer to GOD than I had in a long time – since I 1st received the Holy Spirit. The 1st chance I got I watched a december 08 show on damon’s website; I was extremely touched. I received that revival. I felt GOD take me over and I experienced Him just like I did the 1st time I was baptized in the Spirit. It wasn’t an accident and GOD meant for it to happen. I bless him for The Ramp.
